The Many Faces of Claire

Man, we love this girl. She is such a joy.

Giving Mom's leg a snuggle.

Showing off her two new teeth.

Trying desperately to eat this piece of paper and not having much success since I'm holding the other end.

Crying on the other side of the door after her sisters ditched her. She will follow them anywhere.

The one drawback to high ceilings and doors? The Johnny Jump-up doesn't work too well. It's hard to tell from this picture but her feet are about two feet off the ground. Bummer.

The Tupperware drawer: every baby's favorite place to play!

She really hates the blinding orange light that flashes before the picture is snapped. Like the giant black mark she got while playing in the drawers?

Easter

Having girls is fun at Easter time. Well, all of the time, but aren't they cute in their dresses?

The Easter Bunny made a visit to our house and brought new nightgowns and snorkel gear for Samoa. Somehow we forgot to get a picture of the girls in their snorkel masks. We'll have to do that because it's pretty entertaining. We spent the rest of Easter Sunday enjoying Conference and eating eggs. Hope your Easter was fabulous too!

Good Friday Fun

We enjoyed the day off of school at the train park in Scottsdale with the Robles kids. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. The beautiful weather is on its way out so we were happy to soak it up while we could.

I hate carousels. The things we do for our kids. . .

All I Want for Easter?

Jenna is a little more toothless these days. She went down the street to the neighbors' house and had it pulled. It's really nice to have our own resident tooth pullers because I sure wasn't going to do it! Our neighbor said Jenna was really brave. The tooth probably needed a couple more days of loosening but she braved her way through it and let them wiggle it out. She was well paid for her effort with two gold dollars.

Hunting Eggs

My girls have been so spoiled this Easter. In the weeks leading up to Easter they were invited to two egg hunts--one in our neighborhood and one at a friend's house.

Poor Claire. This is the outfit her Dad put her in for the egg hunt.
At least it's all pink and brown, right?

Grace was sweet at this egg hunt and kept helping the little kids find
eggs or giving them eggs out of her basket. Love this girl!

Motherhood changes as you get older

Today I let my baby play in the garbage so I could have a few minutes to work on the computer. I am awesome.

After reading this post Devon told me I needed an addendum explaining that this was the office garbage and was only full of paper. Just in case you thought I was exposing my child to all kinds of disgusting trash. :)

Campout

Ah, the simple pleasures of childhood. Who knew a tent in the backyard would be so fun? You'd think we were taking them to Disneyland. While Devon was setting up the tent Jenna was jumping up and down repeating, "This is so fun!" I was worried they would be asking for their beds in the middle of the night but they spent the entire night in the tent and can't wait to do it again.
